Sunflower Summer Day Four :: National Agricultural Center + Hall of Fame -and- Grinter Place Historical Site
The girls LOVED learning about the history of agriculture and loved the old fashioned school in Farm Town. We saw all sorts of vintage homemaking/home crafting machines and supplies which was a delight. This is likely one we will repeat.
Grinter Place is the house of the an early settler on the Missouri River - he ran a ferry on the river and helped people to cross. It was interesting to see the difference in his wealth as compared to the settler homes we have seen just a bit further west from the same time period.
